This project aims to revive the endangered craft of swill basket making by integrating it into the luxury fashion industry through a collaboration with Prada. By introducing this traditional technique into Prada's new line of basket bags, set to launch in the summer, it provides the craft with renewed relevance and purpose. To coincide with the release, Prada will host a pop-up exhibition in partnership with Selfridges Project Earth. This exhibition will educate consumers on the significance of swill basket making and highlight its role in sustainable fashion, aligning with the values of the target audience.
